Maybe the photoshop community can settle an on going debate finally with the new black and white tool...maybe? probably not but I think the new black and white tool is very effective and gives you great control over your photo!

Thanks

awesome turtorial. I could help but notice one thing and have a question for another. The notice part is: you said pretty cool a LOT XD and the question is: how do you make one part of a photo B+W but like...the eyes are colored or something?

yes I know, I used to use the gray scale thing.. but now I realize how much control I lost because of it... But the first part of the tutorial is still applicable to older versions of Photoshop, and it's quite useful=)

very helpful review of the new black and white tool brother... im still using CS2 and i had a similar way to get black and white and ofcourse is not easy at all to obtain really black and white, but for people who want to get a quicker/much descent black and white this tool will help a lot!

You can actually drag on the image and adjust the tones. I love using this new B&W image adjustment tool. It's one of the thins I use most of all. It is extremely useful in manipulations and removing the dither and noise.
