I've been struggling to figure this out myself for far too long. Thanks a bunch for the help.
Do you happen to know how to paint the grid? like, how to get the grid painted onto a layer so i can look at it after the filter?

nice. Is better than the perspective cause even if it takes a little more of work you can be sure the resulting image is better aligned
