You must have basic knowledge of photoshop to do this tutorial.


In this video tut ill show you the basics of importing an image into photoshop with an alpha channel and then removing that channel for further PS editing.

Also will show you how to make realistic looking lightning.

Alpha channels can be used for a lot of things, glad you did a tut on it...I'm terrible at tuts and people ask me all the time.

As far as the lightning....I'll just use brushes. :lol:

lol..yeah there a re a few ways but thats about the easiest and where you have the most control over them. I have honestly never used them in a dev...but its a cool effect.
